A graduate of Ross University, she has built her career around the belief that exceptional medicine begins with genuine connection—both with pets and the people who love them. Her experience expands from general practice for more than 10 years and emergency veterinary medicine.  Dr. Barbosa has a special interest in preventative care, and internal medicine.  She is committed to creating a calm, supportive experience that reduces stress for animals and their families. Known for her warm communication style and thorough, thoughtful approach, she strives to empower pet owners with knowledge and confidence at every stage of their pet’s life. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Barbosa enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, and attending Tampa's sport events.  Go Bucs!
